1. Introduction
EEW Design Limited (“EEW Design”, “we”, “us”) is committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically. We recognise that even as a small creative studio, our decisions can affect clients, suppliers, communities and the environment.
This Corporate Social Responsibility Policy explains the principles that guide how we work and how we seek to make responsible decisions in day-to-day business.
2. Purpose and scope
This policy applies to EEW Design’s business activities, including:
creative, digital, print-management, video and motion-graphics projects;
relationships with clients, suppliers, freelancers and contractors;
procurement of services, software, print, production and other materials;
environmental and community considerations; and
ethical conduct, equality, inclusion and fair working practices.
3. Our CSR commitments
EEW Design is committed to:
acting honestly, fairly and transparently;
complying with applicable laws and professional obligations;
reducing avoidable environmental impact;
treating people with dignity and respect;
supporting fair and safe working practices;
using suppliers responsibly and proportionately; and
improving our policies and practices over time.
4. Ethical business practices
We seek to conduct business with integrity by:
maintaining accurate records and invoices;
avoiding bribery, corruption and improper influence;
avoiding the facilitation of tax evasion;
managing conflicts of interest transparently;
protecting confidential information and client data; and
raising concerns promptly where something appears unlawful, unethical or inconsistent with our policies.
This policy should be read alongside our Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy, Anti-Tax Evasion Policy, Sanctions Policy, Privacy Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct.
5. Environmental responsibility
We aim to reduce avoidable environmental impact by:
using digital delivery and online meetings where appropriate;
reducing unnecessary travel;
selecting environmentally responsible print and production options where feasible;
reducing waste, reusing materials and recycling where possible;
using energy efficiently in our operations; and
considering environmental factors when selecting suppliers and production routes.
Where a project involves print, production, events or physical materials, we will discuss practical lower-impact options with the client where relevant.
6. People, inclusion and wellbeing
We are committed to fair and respectful working relationships. We aim to:
treat employees, freelancers, suppliers and clients with dignity and respect;
avoid unlawful discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation;
support reasonable flexibility where operationally possible;
maintain safe working practices; and
promote an inclusive culture in our work and communications.
This policy should be read alongside our Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Remote Working Policy.
7. Responsible procurement and suppliers
We work with suppliers, freelancers and production partners who can help us deliver high-quality services responsibly. Where proportionate, we consider:
quality, reliability and professional competence;
data-protection and confidentiality requirements;
environmental approach, particularly in print and production;
labour standards and modern slavery risk;
conflicts of interest and ethical risks; and
whether the supplier can comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct.
8. Community and local impact
As an independent studio based in South West London, we recognise the value of local relationships and community impact. Where possible and commercially appropriate, we aim to:
support local suppliers and businesses;
contribute positively to the communities in which we work;
support responsible creative work for clients and organisations whose values align with ours; and
use our skills to help clients communicate clearly, accessibly and responsibly.
9. Monitoring and review
We review this policy periodically and may update it to reflect:
changes in our business, clients or services;
changes in law or recognised good practice;
feedback from clients, suppliers or team members; and
practical lessons from how we operate.
